Buhari Urges EU to Support Nigeria’s Anti-Corruption Efforts

Addressing a special session of the EU Parliament in Strasbourg during his visit to France, President Buhari on Wednesday told the Parliament that assisting him in stemming and recovering illicit stolen funds will not only aid in his administration’s efforts of restoring good governance, transparency, peace and security to Nigeria, it will improve economic relations between the country and the rest of the world.

President Buhari said his administration is committed to democracy and ensuring equality for all Nigerians as well as protecting the human rights of the most vulnerable, especially those that have been victimized by Boko Haram, is utmost on its security agenda.
